Meet the Authors of Mindfulness for Life
Dr Stephen McKenzie
Dr Stephen McKenzie has over twenty years of experience as a lecturer and researcher in psychology, medicine and preventive health.
Dr McKenzie has researched and taught over a broad range of psychological areas, including depression, dementia, substance abuse, and most recently, mindfulness.
Dr McKenzie was recently appointed as the Research and Evaluation Officer for the City of Greater Geelong’s implementation of a major national, state and local government Preventive Health initiative, and teaches mindfulness to medical students at Deakin University.
Dr McKenzie is the author of Mindfulness at Work.
Dr Craig Hassed
Dr Craig Hassed is an internationally recognised expert in mindfulness who has been instrumental in promoting mindfulness as a simple and accessible technique for enhancing wellness, preventing and managing illness, and improving performance within health, educational and corporate settings.
He is the founding president of the Australian Teachers of Meditation Association.
